Beginning March 26, 2017, the Library will no longer be able to accept credit card payments through the website. This is due to changes in PayPal's security requirements. Patrons will still be able to come into the library and have their credit card payments processed on site with the PayPal chip card reader.
Want to learn how to use a computer or surf the Web? Need to learn how to download a book to your eReader? London Public Library can help. Starting in February and running through May, the library is offering the following classes for FREE: Basic Computer Skills, Introduction to the Internet, Online Databases Application Class, and Genealogy.
Don Colley, London Public Library's Guiding Ohio Online teacher, will be instructing the classes. Classes are free, but seating is limited. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants may bring their own laptops, or use the library's computers.
The London Public Library is starting the New Year with a new logo. The logo is inspired by the library's prominent Carnegie and back window. To top it off, a book silhouette represents its primary goal of literacy. The new logo is being released ahead of a new website that the library has been working on with Columbus based company, Marcy Design Group. The new website will be released to the public in the near future.
Do you love trying new recipes and sharing dishes? Do you love browsing cookbooks and eating food with your friends? Then Cookbook Book Club is for you. We pick the cookbook or cookbook author. We reserve copies that you can pick-up at the library. You choose and make the recipe of your choice and then we gather on the third Wednesday of the month to share our dishes. Please bring a copy of your recipe.
If you would like to join the club please contact Tara Hutson at 740-852-9543 or e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may stop in the library and check out a copy of the club book at any time. Cookbook Club Reading List 2016/2017.
