The library has transferred its e-book service to the Digital Downloads Library Consortium. The only noticeable change will be the page that you log into to gain access, everything else will be the same. You will still continue to get the same great selection and services but with less waiting periods and all of your previous holdings in the Ohio Ebook Project will be automatically transferred to the new consortium. The London Public Library is pleased to announce that starting May 1, library items will automatically be renewed on patron accounts up to the maximum number of allowed renewals set by lending libraries in the Central Library Consortium (2 for LPL items). If an item is renewed, you will receive a notification via your default choice of communication (txt or e-mail).
It is the library's hope that this new feature will assist you in managing your daily activities in regards to your library account and materials. Renewal of library materials will take place based on the following eligibility requirements.
• If no other customer places a reserve on that item
• If the item has not reached its maximum number of renewals (2 for LPL items)
• If the customer’s account has not accrued $10.01 or more in fines
